There once was a man named Frank

Who loved eating, dancing, and drank

Gravelly Bay was his passion,

Baggy pants were his fashion

On Sundays he was a bit of a crank.

A third generation Simcoe lawyer and proud third generation Long Point Company Secretary-Treasurer until 2017. Partner and friend to Sherry Biggar, brother of Elspeth Kerr (nephew John), father of Lynn, Rob (Bianca), Diane (Rick), Doug (Kristin), Sherry’s son Jeff (Rhiannon). Grandfather to Brooke & Erin, Nicole & Andy, Arlie & Kate, Rowan & Nora, Finn & Rachel and friend and former spouse Mary Alice. An alumnus of Western University where he swam competitively, graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School (1960), Frank practiced in Simcoe for over 45 years. Frank thrived on his connections to people and maintained life long friendships. He was a storyteller, loved limericks, sharing jokes, reciting Robert Service poetry, and live music at Grossman’s. Frank enjoyed politics and was always up for a good debate. He was known for his generosity, impressive memory, and as the host of the Gravelly Bay Cup. Frank lived his life and left on his own terms. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to his friends who drove weekly to Juravinski, he enjoyed the conversation and reminiscing during the drive. A special thanks to Lora and the home care nurses who provided excellent care and support. At Frank’s request a celebration of life will be held at the Norfolk Golf and Country Club, 200 Argyle St., Simcoe on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 pm.
