so sorry to hear of Alec’s passing. I will always remember his paintings, sculptures and also the goblets he made for me and the painting of my first born daughter and myself. He was a great man and will always be in our thoughts.

I had the pleasure of working for A.J. Godden from 1993 until his retirement in 2015, and I swear those were the most enjoyable years of my life. Alec Godden was born a creative genius and anyone that owns one of his creations will testify to this statement, but they were also lucky, as was I, to meet one of the funniest people in their lives. I never saw anyone leave AJ’s studio work shop that was not laughing, almost to tears, on their departure. The world is a sadder place without Alastair John Godden, He was sorrowfully missed before he even left. NicholasEdwardOBrien.ca posted by TheOBrienFamily.ca with Love and Respect Luba &Nicholas
