To all who knew Roman, he was a wonderful and caring individual with tremendous affection for others. Roman was a cherished son, brother/bother in law, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and confidant. He dedicated his time to help others, lent a soft ear and offered wise guidance. He was a natural role model of values and love as a Pépère to his Tatum, Farrah & Brant.  Roman, will fondly be remembered for his positive outlook on life, well expressed by the following words he has left for us: Present moments cannot last; in no time they are gone; so let’s not waste them on the past, for so many reasons live them, then move on. Forget the ones that bring you pain; or a tear into your eye; live them quick, move on again; there’s something new to try. Don’t build a cage around yourself; with bars of love gone wrong; let sadness only be your help; in writing happy songs! He will be forever in our hearts. In respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for Roman at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church (Hall), 125 Thompson Road East, Waterford on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1 to 4 pm.
